External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT)

We utilize state-of-the-art linear accelerators (LINACs)—the Varian TrueBeam and Varian Halcyon—to deliver high-energy radiation beams that are carefully shaped and directed to match each tumor’s unique size and location.

• TrueBeam LINAC: Specifically engineered to treat complex cancers such as brain, lung, breast, skin, pelvic, and head & neck cancers (in both adults and children). Its 3D imaging system is up to 60% faster than traditional methods, improving treatment accuracy and reducing session times.

• Halcyon System: Designed for speed and precision, Halcyon can deliver treatment up to four times faster than conventional machines. With advanced imaging and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), it ensures highly targeted treatment from multiple angles in a single arc.

Brachytherapy (Internal Radiation Therapy)

KCTC also offers image-guided brachytherapy, where a radiation source is placed directly inside or near the tumor site. This form of internal radiotherapy allows for high-dose delivery with minimal exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

Brachytherapy is ideal for shrinking tumors before surgery, relieving pain, and reducing the risk of cancer recurrence. We offer:
